Acer Liquid E Ferrari

Hi,

I have a problem with my acer liquid e ferrari phone. It is running on Android 2.2..Base Version -> Acer_LiquidE_4.005.06_AAP_G2F

Some program seems to control my phone when I try to operate :D . For example, stopping the browser when I try to browse internet, click some links within browser, trying to call a contact when the I am looking at call log, etc..

I tried to kill certain applications running to prevent this. I suspect 'My Uploads' program is trying to control the phone when I am operating. When I killed it, the behavior stopped. But somehow, the same program starts again and does mischief. I tried to uninstall this program but I think this is not possible as this is embedded into OS.

Can someone suggest how can I get rid of this? will rooting help?

You can try flashing new firmware.. BTW, try to reduce screen sensivity - high value can produce unwanted touches..

I think your firmware is latest already. Im using that devices as well, but I haven't encountered that kind of problem. Have you tried Factory Reset?

I think that your problem is related to touch screen sensibility. Try change it with liquid settings, you can find it somewhere in this forum.
