as requested by some users a full rom for b7610 with newer kernel build. I choose new build 29017 (thx to DFT)

Details:

FULL edition

  • JC2 OEM with SYS/XIP 29017
  • removed: so far only entertainment packages
  • added: Advanced Config, Regedit, PIMBackup, AutoClosePatch, Finix Taskbar with Battery Percent View, UC_NET
  • changed: O*F*F*I*C*E to 2010 version
  • Pagepool: 12 MB
  • Free Data Memory: 150 mb
  • Free Program memory: about 70MB

    • JC2 OEM with SYS/XIP 29017
    • removed sys: entertainment, office, autoupdate, enterprise, themes, skybox, skymarket, welcome center, windows live, transcriber, sample music, bt hid, o*f*f*i*c*e, alarm sounds
    • removed oem: most of the samsung apps, except camera, settings, xt9
    • added: uc_net, advanced config, finix taskbar
    • changed: old sms app, old gps driver, some registry tweaks
    • pagepool: 12 mb
    • data memory: about 295 mb
    • program memory: about 82 mb, (about 90 mb with titanium not started)

    - ULTRA version GER here (md5:20ee313e8555d1230db0c5e26180c9b4) users that already downloaded corrupted mediafire version could delete the bytes at beginning with hxd or any other hex editor. start should look like on attached screenshot. rest of file is ok from mediafire

    Known bugs:

    - arial.ttf, cour.ttf and tahoma.ttf missing in some of the releases (f.e. ULTRA WWE). Just copy them to windows folder, soft reset and you're done. will fix this with next new version. (thx to aiiro for test and providing the fix method)

Oh, very nice! A new Version of WM :(

As you might know - I'm looking forward to a ultralight Version :D

(maybe you can cook a Version with Titanium?)

Does this rom support only German? I'd appreciate English version or some "Central Europe" version (including Czech). Because "Deutsch" is not my favourite language (Sorry :D )

@Freezy1982: Of course as said in post 1 light versions will follow. Also CHOME_ONLY version as usually

Yipeeyayeee! :( I have read this - But I haven't ever thought that you are so fast!!! - I will test this version soon (I hope today evening) and will give you a report!

EDIT: Do I see a Simplicity Custom ROM there??? :D

i must rebuild it, dialer isnt working at all in light version. Seems that i have removed some oem that I shouldn't ;-)

OK, found the reason. This error concerns FULL GER version, too.

It was some wrong sys 0407 packages. WWE version does not have this error.

I will build ger full and ger ultra with fixed 0407 packages today.

just came from your 29007-none-version to the chome-version cause i needed a fresh look and i thought i had time till you finish this one. But guess have to flash again now! Downloading...

Changed the link again. Be sure that your download link ultra is different from full than you have the right link

Yes I know, first you linked the full Rom but wrote Ultra rom was finished. But I recognized it was 249mb so I knew it could not be the Ultra! :D

I waited and found the Ultra from mediafire.

Download finished will flash now :(

edit: When I try to select the .nb0 it tells me "select PDA file is incorrect" ? Never had that before.

Can anyone check. Downloading again maybe file was corrupt.

ULTRA WWE available

@cappuccina: which octan version do you use? I flashed the file correctly with 2.11, but could be like you supposed that download hasn't worked.

I used both Octans 2.11 and with Octans mini. Try to download again, but lost my internet connection during second download and have to start over AGAIN! I hate netcologne! :D

i downloaded my uploaded file and get the same error. Will reupload ist.

Strange thing is, that files are hex the same but mediafirefile has some bytes more at beginning.
