Official Dell Streak 02 2.2 to Steve 2.2 (rebel sim user)

Hi, I just bought this amazing Dell Streak on ebay for quite a bargain.. it is unlocked on 02 (UK) and it was originally bought a few weeks ago so it comes with the official android 2.2 pre-installed..

The thing is im on a talk mobile sim only plan and i want to use my sim on this 2.2 phone..

Already bought the rebel sim v1.2.. and i know it wont work with an official 2.2..

so my question is.. can somebody point me out on how i can upgrade??/downgrade? an official 2.2 to a steve 2.2(baseband version?)..

or is their anyway i could just change the baseband itself? (if possible)

If it's unlocked, you don't really need to use RebelSIM! Unless that's a typo and you meant that it's locked.

If it is locked, you'll need to use fastboot and flash the 2.1 amss.mbn and then flash StreakDroid using the nobb option in install.txt There's threads on here and over at XDA with detailed instructions. Lemme see if I can find them!
