Remove the "system app" attribute

I'm going to try cm7 again, now that the proximity issue looks fixed in nightly 19. I just don't like the adw launcher, and would like to use a stock froyo one. But I'm (pretty sure) that when you attempt not install, it says its a system app. And then, when you press home, it doesn't give the option trip use the frouo launcher. I'm assuming its because it is a system app. How would you go about fixing this?

removing the launcher from the rom zip and including the launcher you want has always worked for me on other ROMS

Titanium backup removes system apps no problem.

i really don't like awd launcher too

i use launcher pro and very happy with it :D

i suppose you can install launcher pro after flashed the rom but it's a waste of space

is standard launcher included by default ?? just to boot the rom and install launcher pro

Thanks for all the help. i just deleted ADW launcher from the cyanogen zip file and replaced it with "launcher2.apk" from fibblesans ROM. Works like a dream. Im loving cyanogen now, since uninstalling it due to bugs and the launcher.

@frankish I Know that :D I was just wondering how to open launcher2.apk when it says its a system app (cause im pretty sure that didnt work with me back in nightly 8, id press home and it would just load adw) anyway its all working now :(

PS: I LOVE YOUR THEMES. I just wish you could use them on cyanogen :@

I might try posting "blue gingerbread thin circle mod" using this online theme kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt/kitchen/ . but I dont think it changes the yellow bars found on the volume toggle/music player progress etc.
