Update as well: IT FREAKING WORKS!!! ANDROID 2.2 on OMNIA!!!! Tips: 1. wait 1 week, the guy is working on an updated version with WIFI and it is suppose to run much faster 2. Get a super lite ROM and disable everything on winmo!! 3. Keep android light, don't go loading it up with junk, it gets slow very quickly. Thank you h5n1!! Edited March 16, 2011 by thescope

Guest Sb. Posted March 17, 2011 Report Posted March 17, 2011 It looks a bit laggy in the video , whats it like with you guys? is it stable?
Guest thescope Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Well, it starts off laggy so I killed all the running tasks using task killer, then it runs much faster. Something running on startup is slowing it down, not sure which process.
Guest 天真灿漫 Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 I can't download it .please ,give me the other link. Thank you .....
Guest ys2206 Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 same situation here when i kill a lot of tasks he works well waiting for tomorrow and new version with wifi

Guest h5n1 Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Will it work on i900 8GB storage, not the memory card? yeah it works on the storage ! but you can manage to make it work on the storage card !
Guest flyke Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Hi there, Since there are already some people here who have tried this/are trying this, I have some simple questions and would love to have an answer on them. If you have tried this, please answer, I would be gratful ! - What Omnia (lite) rom are you using to test this ? - What is the battery life while running android 2.2 (how long before a fully charged phone battery is dead ?) - Can you make phonecalls with it and receive phone calls ? - Can you access the internet using wifi ? - Can you access the internet using cellular data (3g,...) - Can you use the android marked (for say installing angry birds lite) - What is the sound quality like ? - What other functions have you found to be working or not working at all ? Once again, thanks for your reply !
Guest thescope Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 The Russian devs pushed back the new release for some time. I see on the forum that they are working on a workaround to try and get Android 2.2 on the internal memory (not my storage or SD). There is only 160MB so it's not an easy task and other improvements. thanks to Google translate :D

Guest free2live Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 when i run haret.exe, i got an error like this (attachment) anyone can help me?? hi. i was getting the same error when i tried to run the haret.exe from"my storage" and i also got the same mistake when i had less then 50% battery( i'm using spb mobile shell). try running the haret.exe from a 1gb memory card . the android looks good but you have to be patient as it's not so fast. the battery runs out pretty fast : aprox 3 hours.
Guest thescope Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 ALL: To make it run fast, add the task-killer widget and kill all tasks after launch. Speed goes to acceptable. There is one application that auto launches that makes the device slow.
