Restoring original OEM ROM

I want to return my Vega to Curry's to get the Xoom instead.

I have the R8 ROM installed on it and no other changes. How can I:

1. Download the original ROM

2. Restore the original ROM

Emmm.. not sure i can do this.

I did the upgrade on my Mac because I an using Win 7 64-bit so couldn't get the USB driver to install.

Now the advent installer is a Windows Executable so I can't run it on the Mac :D

Any ideas greatly appreciated.

You don't need the ADB USB driver to "downgrade" back to a stock ROM, because this is done using the Vega's "Recovery" mode.

Just get the usb drivers from here...

The Point Of View Mobii is the same device and i know the usb drivers they have for the Nvidia APX mode work in windows 7 x64...

Also the little firmware update pdf can be great to read..

Thanks. Thought it was the same USB drivers packaged with the Custom ROM, but they did install fine from the Advent site.
