not necaserily , bada is a very competent and capable Os, it ma still be in its infancy , but core things like flash and multi-tasking were a thought right from the start , not an after thought like in android,WP7 or iOS, there is promise, maybe if samsung licenses bada out to OEMs like HTC there could be awesome -sauce hardware from samsung and HTc or if they go with nokia cheap phones from nokiawith a great OS

I've have had an Samsung Wave S8500, Galaxy S and now have an ZTE Blade.

The Wave is a solid phone, great build quality. But the software (Bada) isn't on par with Android, there aren't many interesting apps for Bada. The screen is nice tho.

Then I bought an Galaxy S, great phone bit laggy sometimes. I discovered that Android was so much better than Bada. I didn't like the build quality, too much (glossy) plastic.

I now have an ZTE Blade for a couple of days, and I like it :D. It is a solid phone much better than the Galaxy S, it is not so fast as my Galaxy S. But there are better ROMs for the ZTE Blade. I expected it to be much slower than my Galaxy S but it suprised me.

I don't know if Bada is any better now (I used it till September 2010) but I am sure I won't be buying an Bada device anytime soon.
