Which RUU Should I Use For Vodafone Warranty Repair?

Hi,

I have been having issues with my phone's microphone so I have unrooted the phone and installed:

Will this be Ok for a warranty repair or should I use and older rom or the vodafone one?

I got the phone in April 2010 and as far as I can remember it had no vodafone branding but I did need to make a gold card to root the phone.

Did that install without the use of a gold card? If so, then you're fine on that or any of the 3 newer ones since that (latest being 2.29.405.5)

If you had to use a gold card to 'debrand' the phone when you got it from Vodafone then you'd need to put a Vodafone ROM back on it. Here's the link to the latest Vodafone RUU:

I had to use the goldcard to install the rom becasue I kept getting a customer ID error. I will install the one from the link provided, will this be fine to send back to vodafone?

Yep, it'll be fine as it's the Vodafone UK ROM
