Guest rahulkadukar Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 no idea, but take solace in the fact that i just installed it on 1.9 with no problems Can you please post or PM the path for the 1.9 beta, there are so many things not working in 1.8.1 I am ready to give 1.9 a try.
Guest netonyx Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 unmount sdcard and install again! Seriously, try this. A lot of people have had trouble with the latest version of Angry Birds, and this seems to do the trick.
Guest ArchiMark Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 I already had Angry Birds on my Streak and recently upgraded to 1.8.1, no problems...and the other day upgraded Angry Birds and runs fine.....
Guest popetodd Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Running Angry Birds and Angry Birds Seasons on my 1.8.1 no problem.
Guest fards Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Unmount your sdcard, mount it on your PC and rename .android_secure to something else Remount The card and that folder will get rebuilt, market will update fine then
Guest Dunhamzzz Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Loads of people have this issue, Rovio are seriously doing something wrong.
Guest jmhalder Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Loads of people have this issue, Rovio are seriously doing something wrong. It runs on every official Dell release for me, all of them. It runs on my girlfriends Hero (slowly due to the ARMv6 cpu), it runs on my nook color, and it runs on pretty much every phone at my work (Indirect dealer for VZW, AT&T, T-Mobile). :D that being said, Ive had either the original or the seasons version fail to install because it automatically tries to install on the SD and fails... try unmounting the SD card before installation (if it gets through the install, this isn't going to help)
Guest ClippinWings Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 (edited) Ever since I have upgraded to 1.8.1 I cant get angry bird to work.. Anyone know how to fix? I can't get it to upgrade either. -edit-- and that's what i get for replying before reading the other replies. :D Edited March 18, 2011 by ClippinWings
Guest pjg_pigeon Posted March 18, 2011 Report Posted March 18, 2011 Thanks unmounting my SDCARD fixed my version, I was not able to update the app, I guess its trying to install to the SDCARD, but I moved the app to the device when playing around with adding the Ubuntu shell Thanks again.
