Hi All,

Just a greenhorn question: Why isn't this app compatible with the ZTE Blade? The marketplace says the minimum spec is Android 1.5. But, when I specify the phone type (in the marketplace) it doesn't want to play. So, what's the problem? It would be nice if they told you why, but maybe I'm hoping for too much there. Seems like a good app, and handy to have if your out and about. If it helps, I'm running the stock orange rom, at least for now.

All the best,

Bill

Works for me and does exactly what I want it to, the full Amazon website runs like a dog on the Blade.

Not sure what you expect it to do?

Type in a search, it quickly returns the list that match, filter by department if you want, exactly what you want it to do. Scan a barcode off a book, brings up the details.

Couple of clicks, books ordered, spot on.

Yep, good App. Easy to use/navigate and nice and light (unlike Ebay app) Used it a couple of times and stuff arrived as expected!!!!!! lol

@ Azurren, do you think its due to the stock ROM then? Even if go to the marketplace on my pc, and log in with my google account (which then limits the apps by the phone type) and then try to send it to my phone, I get a message that its not compatible. So, it doesn't seem like its connection problem or any fault on the phone itself.

Thanks ahead of time for any help you give me

Yes I would say so :(

I would highly recommend either taking the "little" step to Froyo (FLB is one of the best currently) or taking a slightly larger leap to the Cyanogen nightly (Gingerbread)

Froyo is almost 100% perfect, Cyanogen is still in development and needs a few small tweaks to make it 100% usable (Just like enabling some options in the settings and flashing some files) :D
