library for the advent

:D I am from the uk, can you download books from any public library here in the uk, from the advent, any suggestions would be most helpful. I have only had my advent for about 2 weeks now, still trying my way round it.

do uk libraries offer downloads? i have never heard of this

presumign they do i presume it would be just a matter of finding an ebook reader that plays whatever format they supply it in

there was already a thread on here about the best ebook readers for the vega

+1 from me as well. Never even thought about until I saw this. Learn something new everyday. Only problem is my library card is so old that the hampshire library service doesn't recognise it anymore so thats a trip to the library in the morning

I use surrey elibrary with overdrive. I think anyone can use the service and you can sign up online

Dont know about UK library downloads but for free ebooks try http://www.gutenberg.org/

Hi I would just like to thank everyone for there comments, much appreciated ,I have just downloaded overdrive, and it works a treat, so thanks for that.
