Zte Blade on Three

I'd like to be able to use Skype on Three, and WLM (on Three). The Skype is already working, I've tried some apk's from the Internet and voila.

But this stupid WLM doesn't want to work. Is there anyone who's found a working WLM's (Three) apk, which is working fine? If there so, please show me a link or something. Thanks.

This 3 UK WLM 0.5.18.4 works for me and the Skype if needed thanx

Thanks. And which rom are you using? Because mine is on Finnish Fillyjonk 2.1, maybe that's the problem.

I'm thinking of changing it to Swedish Spring RLS2.

Edit: I get the same error message with this WLM version too: "We are currently experiencing some technical difficulties. Please try again later. [-8]" :@ :D

Thanks very much I wanted both of these but had been unable to find them before seeing this post and your links! I now have both working on 3 on my Blade which is running flb 10b thanks again :D

I've got later versions of Skype on 3 (1.5.0.13) which runs perfectly under CM7.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but could someone confirm what I should expect the 'Skype on 3' software to allow me to do. I am using version 1.5.0.13, and I have a strong HSDPA carrier signal. The Skype software won't let me phone land lines or mobile numbers, even when I have Skype credits. Should it allow me to make this class of calls, or is 3 clever enough to barr them? The Skype software just routes my call through the standard android dialer and tells me my phone credit (not Skype credit) will be used.

I wonder if it might be related to the fact that the phone number 'About Phone -> Status -> My phone number' stored in Android is incorrect, and is not actually my true phone number on 3. Don't know how that happened.

I also have trouble browsing to 3-specific website, like 'my3', I just get a landing page saying I can't view that page via wifi and must be on the 3 network instead (but I am NOT using wifi and I AM on the 3 network).

Apart from that, my browsing andf phoning experiences are normal. This happened with stock Orange UK and now MoDaCo 12.

EDIT: Ok, I used the Android app 'My Phone Number' to correct the number on my phone/sim. I think I can access 3-specific sites now. But 'Skype on 3' still gives problems as detailed above.

You need to make sure you kill the browser completely - I need to kill mine in task manager to get it work if I change between wifi and 3. But as I have a 2Gb tariff, I never use wifi anyway....

The apk does not allow you to call any UK numbers mobile or landline!

It will work on another network i think but it will use date it is only free on three uk
