Guest schprlock Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Until now, if you needed to use a gamepad in a program that wouldn't let you refefine the keys, you had no choice but to pay $9.95 for GamePro, and diagonals were very sensitive (it's hard to move horizontally). The much better and free Bluez IME emulated Joystick buttons, so if you couldn't redefine keys in a game (like Cordy, for example, that uses the '.' key for action). Well, great news. If you have a Zeemote, check out the Market. Bluez IME now allows buttons to emulate any key. And if you don't have a zeemote, get one, you won't regret it.
Guest Lennyuk Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 I just used the official zeemote IME that has been removed from the market for some unknown reason :D
Guest schprlock Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 I tried it when I bought my Zeemote, it didn't work, so I never tried it again. But I might. Is it any good? Better than Bluez IME?

Guest zzleezz Posted March 19, 2011 Report Posted March 19, 2011 Just ordered a zeemote :D Cant wait to start some retro gaming, gaming is something I have not really explored so much on my Vega and the possibilities seem endless.

Thanks. I will probably keep using bluez ime, as it works great, but I would like to try the other one too. GamePro, for example, works, but I wouldn't know how much beter bluez is if I hadn't tried both. I'll pm you, thanks.
Guest thedicemaster Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 unfortunately it seems the *oid emulators removed support for bluetooth input devices. all input from bluez ime(or similar apps) is sent to the rom list rather than the game itself(even after starting the game) so if i'd try to use a button assigned to enter/ok in a game it would ask if i wanted to close the game, and start the one i just selected.
Guest comicbookguy Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 Anyone tried using a zeemote to control media playback?
