Guest That-Guy Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 No but going to have a look in a bit :D Is that + Topup do you know? Only want another one as a spear :(
Guest Azurren Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 No but going to have a look in a bit :D Is that + Topup do you know? Only want another one as a spear :( Without top-up :( They like to draw you in then bump the price up at the last minute
Guest g-rasshopper Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Assuming the top is £20 they're essentially matching Argos' price (in Argos' case £89.99 + mandatory £10.00 top up + £10.00 'free' credit included). Personally I'd rather buy from Argos (assuming they have phones in stock). For all their many faults, Argos is actually very good about giving refunds and replacements for faulty goods, and the SF does appear to have a high failure rate.
Guest That-Guy Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 I purchased 2 at the orange shop in November when they only wanted £10 topup. We also used my partners student discount so got both phones + £10 credit on each for £198.
Guest Len Ash Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 (edited) £79.95 + £10 in CPW too Edited March 20, 2011 by Len Ash
Guest Gounadive Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Purchased mine in Go Mobile for £99 including £10 top up. Well chuffed, TFT Screen that easily looks as good as the 2G Iphone I'm replacing. I haven't updated to 2.2 yet, but have loaded Clockworkmod and Backed up my current settings. Couldn't have done it without the great guides that people have posted on here, a big thanks to everyone.
Guest MrsGeek Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Hi there, I joined up just so I could reply to this thread! been staking the forums for a few days. I went to an Orange shop today and asked to look at a SF handset. I was told that it was £79.99 but I had to pay for £20 top up, I only wanted the phone but they wouldn't let me :D In a way it's not £79.99 really cos you still HAVE to pay for the top up as well.
Guest That-Guy Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 I suppose they know most people will be switching networks after purchasing the phone so they need to make a little money first :D
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted March 20, 2011 Report Posted March 20, 2011 Good, im not going mad :( :D are you sure ? :( (just joking) :D

I'd say the opposite, I wont buy anything from Argos because of the hassle I've had returning faulty electronics in the past & also because they often run out of stock of the sf. The Orange Shop were good when I needed to return my sf, no argument at all & I walked out of the shop with a new phone, took about 10 minutes.
Guest Gerry P Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Only want another one as a spear :( Is it sharp enough for that? :D
Guest WallyUK Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 (edited) I took advantage of this offer, combined with £20 NHS Discount, making the phone £60 + £20 top-up. I don't really mind paying the £20 top-up as when I port the number over to an orange sim only deal it will pay for the first month. :D Edited March 21, 2011 by WallyUK
Guest blade_ Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 mates where is the cheapest price now?
Guest HMZX Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 whats NHS ? National Health Service yeah, but only in england, as i said before, 1st post
Guest deksman2 Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 The Orange San Francisco was being sold for £90, less than a month ago while I was still in London. It was the white version. And of course there was a mandatory £20 top-up fee. The Black version was by £10 more expensive but I failed to see the point in paying extra for what was the same phone with just a slightly different casing (for which I can always get extra protection).
Guest alwyn Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 yeah, but only in england, as i said before, 1st post Yes, purchased mine from them about 2 weeks ago, arrived the next day.

Guest slightee Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 i have a friend there...i have to ask her if she got this card?and she can buy for 79 the zte?from any orange shop? Is that deal for £80 at Orange with discount, still valid? I could ask my friend, who is a social worker to buy some for me.
Guest agreenjesus Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 yeah, but only in england, as i said before, 1st post It used to be if you worked for the NHS you'd get cushy well paid job as well as all these discounts. Now the bankers have undermined job security in the public as well as private sector. I suppose if you work for the NHS these days you're forced to buy a budget phone.
