Internal GPS on iPaq Voice Messenger

I have installed various sat nav programmes into my iPAQ Voice Messenger, presently have tomtom v7 installed, but I just cannot pick up gps.

Any clues or help?

I've recently resurrected my IPAQ Voice Messenger and will be taking it on the road with me as I train for a half marathon. This is a great windows mobile phone, with a really great camera, and I have used GPS on it extensively in the past.
