Guest mgroover Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 To make a long story short, here is what happened. Dropped phone on pavement, cracked screenOrdered replacement screenDropped phone on tiled floor, phone dies entirelyThinking it's the screen I try the replacement oneStill not working Since it was a work phone which I can do whatever I want with now since it's been replaced with a Samsung Galaxy S. All I ask in return is that you pay for the shipping charges.. :D The replacement display should work just fine, tools are included (new price of it was €20-30? Can't remember really) Just give me your story why you want it and I'll send it off to you for the shipping in it's original box + headset included (and battery!)
Guest Splux Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 I just have to ask, did your screen break in the upper right corner? Just asking since when I dropped my phone my screen got some cracks in it, but only the upper right corner. And I had to send it in for repair for a year ago when I had some strange liquid inside my glass that was leaking from the LCD, also upper right corner :D
Guest mgroover Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Nah.. Mine broke in upper left and right corner and whole left side of the screen...
Guest Splux Posted March 21, 2011 Report Posted March 21, 2011 Nah.. Mine broke in upper left and right corner and whole left side of the screen... Okey, maybe it is just a strange coincident for me then :D Just thought if the liquids actually are weaker in the right upper corner :D

The ones produced starting from jan/feb 2010 and onward should not have that issue.
Guest Morris Lee Posted March 22, 2011 Report Posted March 22, 2011 What color is your liquid? Any damage to the battery cover? I want a black one without the rogers logo, hopefully it matches! The battery would be nice, thanks. How much is the shipping? I live in canada, name the price :D

Now the LCD-liquid is starting to pour down. At first it was only blackened the status bar, but is progressing slowly. At the moment it is still usable but who knows if the LCD-liquid will stop. If the screen still works is the only thing I would u.u
Guest mgroover Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Everything has now been donated. Good luck in using the spare parts Morris Lee and dise :D

And the screen is actually less responsive in the upper right corner aswell, and the upper right corner happens to be where all the bad things happens for me... Maybe I was unlucky and got an old Liquid when I ordered =(
Guest BadMix Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Let me just take 30 seconds to say cheers to mrgroover for your gesture in giving out the spare parts and helping fellow forum members repairing from their unfortonate moments with our beloved liquid. kudos man!
