I've been using this for forum for the last two months or so since I got my SF (Blade). I am still a total noob to Android, but have learned much in the last few months thanks to the efforts of most of the people on here.

That said, there is one question that I seem to stumble on practically every single day :D A question that has been answered time & time again, so it really isn't hard to find the answer to this if you just "search" for the answer & READ some of the threads instead of being lazy.

So, The Question:- Why does my phones Wi-Fi disconnect when my phone goes into sleep mode?

The Answer:- This NOT, I reapeat NOT ROM related, no matter what ROM to flash to your phone, this will NEVER change.

This happens because ZTE designed the phone to behave like this. it's a part of it's design.

You can find a Wi-Fi "fix" on the market that will keep your phone alive when connected to Wi-Fi, but then it won't sleep when Wi-Fi is connected & this will drain your battery quicker.

Oh, And one last thing, Adobe Flash 10.1 Will never work on this phone either. The phones CPU uses ARMv6. Adobe only support ARMv7 and above.

The Moderators & Developers, and dedicated members on this site have enough to do without anwswering the same old questions time & time again. READ People, READ!! Spend some time & SEARCH for the answers to your questions BEFORE posting in a thread. Don't be so ignorrant!!

Rant Over!!!

Advanced wifi lock has worked flawlessly for me. If anyone wants an app to fix it. But like he said. It prevents the system from deep sleep

The wifi sleep issue is still present on Cyanogen Mod 7 and every Froyo rom I have ever used..

If your phone is still able to use wifi while it is "sleeping" then something is keeping your phone awake, draining your battery

The menu button shouldn't be able to wake your device

So many people confuse the wifi sleep issue with the wifi re-connection issue

You also can add Google Earth to the list. Same reason...
