Please help! Cannot open Android market app

Hi I recently bought myself a ZTE blade 'orange san francisco,' I installed launcher pro on it and removed the orange apps. My parents lked it, so they both got one aswell and asked me to install launcher pro and get rid of all the horrible orange apps. Im on the second phone doing it and I rooted the phone and used titanium backup to both get busybox and uninstall the orangey apps, I was only uninstalling the demo games and orange maps etc.... but now the android market app crashes to homescreen everytime i open it, sometimes it will come up with the loading circle and at the top has the market terms of service but it will then just flick back to the homescreen in a matter of milli seconds, I've tried uninstalling updates, clearing caches and even doing a factoryreset, so far nothing has worked... im very worried as its not even my phone!

try factory reset then make sure you sign up to ggogle when you boot up phone i had same problem this worked for me hope it helps you

Do i need Gmail for android market to use, because i think i may have deleted the Gmail app

When I to accounts and sync - Add account, nothing happens.

Ill try pulling a MARKET.APK from my phone.

1) Try UNINSTALLING. the market app on said device.

2) Place the APK (that I will shortly find) in the "/system/app" directory of your phone (should be full of system apk's)

3) Reboot your phone, if market still crashes, try installing a custom ROM (but I guess you havent done that yet)

Thanks for your help guys, the phone or the andoird market on this phone is not synced with a google mail, could this be why? when i try to add an accout nothing happens i justget a black screen and sometimes it reboots. Trying your method mushroom, if this doesnt work ill probably take it back and try wing getting a replacement, I dont particularly want to start installing roms, i think it maybe slightly out of my depth

Theres no system/app either just system/media

You probably removed something needed for the market to work, like google talk (needed in 2.1). Flash the stock orange ROM on it again. Flashing a ROM onto the SanFran is easy peasy, flash FLB or SS on them, they add so much value to the phone. Really, compared to 2.2 or 2.3, the phone with 2.1 is just rubbish.

Okay, then I guess you could try putting it anywhere on your SD card and installing it, it may still work there :D
