A question on wi-fi adaptors & tethering

Hiya!!!

I have recently updated my Vega to the latest R8 ROM version. but my main concern is the wi-fi as it only supports B & G standards. when i'm in my room the signal degrades greatly.

my questions are:

1. in theory will this so-called wi-fi adaptors work with the Vega tablet? are they compatible?

2. is it possible to tether my Vega to a mobile phone to surf the internet?

in relation to this:

will a mifi device help in "capturing" or "catching" the strongest possible wi-fi signal for the Vega?
