N77 is out and is back to 87.13 MB, installing it now...

at least now it has the sim card working again.

just dont know whats going on because since N75 i cant get 3G signal, even after downgrading to stable builds.

I even reinstalled Gen1 and installed Gen 2 V5 again but nothing

Hi,

Currently on N77. So far so Good. GPS is working fine 3G as well. No time so far to test the battery yet.

Anyway I really like Cm7. :P

It's a heavier baby too!

Sorry, you're right - misread the weighing scales in all the rush...

From the first post it looks like no blade specific fixes in 78 over 77

I think I wait for 7.0.4.

Unfortunately, the only real problem is the GPS reboots for me, which affects all 7.0, but there seems to be no activity at all to mend thi at all :P

Anyway, the fixed N76 works fine, but that GPS bug...

*sigh*

N76fix, N77 and N78

Well, I have the same problem as before, I can't make call successfully. When I make a call, screen turns off and none of the buttons work! I can end the call only by removing the battery.. I can receive calls but again, screen turns off and none of the buttons work..

Last time calling worked for me was N70, I skipped N71-N75.

Using White GEN2, not OLED

It maybe that samsung RIL is better than the RIL we have up till now,no idea really, just a wild guess.lol

lol i kinda meant wtf is a RIL - looks like its something to do with the radio, seems to have a lot of code in it to ensure it sleeps properly.....

i take it before we were using the one from froyo

RIL is Radio Interface Layer, RIL makes your phone work like a phone. :P

I'm sorry but I have to tell you you missed a full day+night. Someone must have changed all your clocks and watch.

The Samsung RIL is for Samsung devices, not ZTE devices, and will not be used on the Blade. At best, that change does not change anything for the Blade; at worst, they introduced bugs with the change.

I updated Status of CyanogenMod for the Blade.

N77 on ZTE Blade update 1:

On Battery since 3 hours

Heavy usage Battery at 67%

Wlan, 3G, calls, Messages are working. I experienced some issues with the GPS. There is no reboot but it wont start finding the satelites after a while. What I mean: I use Google Maps, Open Gps Tracker and navigon randomly everything works just fine. After a while I start one of those apps again and the GPS sign at the status bar shows up for about one second and than disappears again and no GPS information is avaiable.

I am not sure if it is due to the combination of those apps or a N77 bug.

Are all the changes from N77 to N78 known. Is it worth it to update? Ok I think the question got answered in the previous post :P !

Thanks

jeah, same issue here with N77: after babbling for a few minutes, the screen stays black and i have to use the back key to get the screen to turn on and end the call.

beside of that, wlan is sometimes not reconnecting correctly (icon is there, but no signal). thats all and a pretty "stable" rom; tryin N78 now...
