Wifi connected but nothing loads up?

I'm on Froyo 2.2 and I can't seem to connect to the net via wifi. This just suddenly happened. There is awifi connection there as it says connected but no web page would load up although Android Market loads up? Anyone know the problem/soloution? The actual WIFI connection is working on other devices so that can't be the problem.

I was reading other threads but they seem to about the wifi sleeping?

i'd say its a hardware problem, try a replacement

Really is your favorite way around things :D

have you tried an alternative browser?

Try Opera MINI (NOT MOBILE)

I know its not great for full "pinch to zoom" type browsing but it uses a proxy, so i works a bit differently to other browsers.

Thanks for the replies! I had tried skyfire as an alternate browser earlier but nothing. Switched my phone off then discoverd someone was downloading via torrent site on the home desktop. Didn't affect the laptop so thought it shouldn't have affected the phone as well. But it seems it did. Page is loading up now but awfully slow so it seems the problem is with the bandwith not the phone it self.
