Guest Len Ash Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 (edited) Made this for someone, seems rather good, so shared. This is largely flibblesan's work, not mine. (Enjoy the different boot animation...) Only 102M, most bunce Google Apps removed. Useful if you need to evaluate and add only those apps you need from the Market etc. As in the stock FLB r11b, HW accel is on as is Stagefright (not http) FLB r11b lite md5 a100523704bea0b22b58206df9ac36ab With Stock Music app added back in FLB r11b lite + Music md5 2104fa602f5ccd437a224ce9e2068ce8 As above, plus Battery Circle mod and enhanced autobrightness levels FLB r11b lite + music + batt circ + ab md5 152c1d57dd97f3f475f64f410d96e110 Edited March 25, 2011 by Len Ash

What file name should be used to check the md5? I tried flb-froyo-r11b remix lite.zip & also replaced the spaces with underscores but no go with either. Cheers, Paul

Guest Paden Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 MD5 checksums are file name independent, if MD5 are different it means your download is corrupted Hi, thanks for the reply What I meant was that that the file name wasn't recognized, not that I got the wrong sumcheck. I type the command: C:\Fastboot>md5sum flb-froyo-r11b remix lite.zip & get No such file: flb-froyo-r11b No such file: remix No such file lite.zip I guess I'm inputting the file name in the wrong format but that what it's called. Cheers, Paul
Guest wooyay Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I type the command: C:\Fastboot>md5sum flb-froyo-r11b remix lite.zip & get No such file: flb-froyo-r11b No such file: remix No such file lite.zip The spaces in the filename confuse the command line, so put it in quotes: md5sum "flb-froyo-r11b remix lite.zip"

Guest rubik777 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Thanks for this lite version. I flashed it but have a little issue. The power widget is too wide now. It touch the homescreen sides. Can I fix this somehow? Tnx

Guest Redflake Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Rom Works great. Seems to have got rid of the issue where enabeling wifi knocks out 3g signal. Only problem is that the default music app is missing and also genie widget. Genie widget required so that desk clock can display weather.

I'm loving the minimalistic aspect of it. Just basic ROM with it being up to me to install most of the apps I want. Aside from that, I agree the lack of music app is a tad disconcerting, and yet, not a big deal at the same time because if you install Winamp in it's place, then I do think you get the same thing (and Winamp is able to play loads of formats natively anyway). Loving the new boot animation btw. Nicely done. I'll really have to make my own though.

Guest Redflake Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Music app missing is deliberate. For anyone wanting a music player, choose one from the Market. Musis app is only about 225kb? Any app of the market is considerably bigger.

Guest andy9876 Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Do I need to do a complete wipe if I am installing over 11b?

Guest shanewaz Posted March 26, 2011 Report Posted March 26, 2011 Hi, I'm really interested in this as my wife doesn't want all the extra stuff on hers. Can this be installed through clock work recovery 2.5.1.8 and is it just a case of saving the zip to the sd card, clearing all cache / data / davlik / and then flashing it or is it an update? (She is currently on FLB r10b). Obviously, she'd rather keep contacts and apps, since moving up to r10b, so if it's an update them it should keep all that in theory (from what I've read) , otherwise if it's a complete install and she'll need to re-download it all again. Sorry if this seems like an obvious question but I'm still relatively new to all this. Cheers

Not tried on 2.x.x.x, but no harm in trying - CW will simply tell you that you need 3.x.x.x if that's the case, no harm will be done to your current ROM. Or update CW to 3.0.0.5 via CW... (I have had problems with 3.0.0.6 and later, personally). You could try NOT wiping data. If it boot loops (sticks on green Android for more than 5 mins or you get a black screen after the green Android), pull the battery (no charger either!) and enter clockwork and reload the previous ROM or clear data/factory reset and load this one. No harm in trying? Edited March 26, 2011 by Len Ash
