Ive just had black screen of death, rebuilt with 1.9 firmware and r8 rom.

but now my vega keeps on showing "android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again"

has anyone got any experience in getting rid of this thing as I cant use my keyboard to browse the net anymore

and it randomly pops up.

Ive tried stopping all programs running and rebooting to no avail

what should i do?

(just re-installed the R8 mod, all fixed even kept all programs. GREAT STUFF)

If you do not have installed CWM yet, follow the instructions in this thread

Then boot into recovery.

In the clockworkMod menu you see

- wipe cache partition

and in

- advanced

you see

- Wipe Dalvik Cache.

Both together clean up the cache and the dalvik-cache.

Try to clean cache only first and leave the dalvik-cache untouched. If you still have the FC, try to clean dalvik-cache as well.

I am not an expert, and I still not sure what the dalvik-cache is good for. But I had a similar problem before and wiping both cache helped me.

"Installation

To install the recovery image and flash utility, extract the first zip file to a directory, then enter the following (this assumes you have 'adb' on your machine):"

I dont have adb on my machine in my device manager under adb it has a yellow triangle, and for the life of me, Ive read through the forums, and if there has been an answer I didnt get it. not a straight answer, people seen to get digresed and I am back to scratching my head.

Got fed up with trying to understand this clockworkmod stuff, I decided to reinstall the r8 mod, ready and prepare to reinstall all progams. But hey presto

it worked, with all my programs still present. great stuff
