Guest mastersmithson Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Hey all, I will keep it simple! I rooted the phone, got rid of the google stuff (oops) and the market stopped working. Re-downloaded the google stuff (talk, provider and service) and used the SDK to put back on the phone. the market is still not working and google talk wont open. I have the San Francisco (blade) 2.1. Is there a fix or even a way to being it back to the ORIGINAL set up. Many thanks

Install "Recovery Manager" to your phone, get clockwork on and then put on a nice new 2.2 Rom (Swedish Spring 2.2 ???) Its very easy and your phone will be far better http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-the-zte-blade/
Guest Lew247 Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 OR just install this http://android.d3xt3r01.tk/cyanogen/gapps/...0120-signed.zip Its the set of google apps Either flash it with clockwork or open it with Winzip or Winrar then go to the aps folder and take out the apps you want, copy them to teh SD card then instal the ones you want

Guest Azurren Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 Still get the 'gaps has stopped unexpectedly' :/ Ill keep trying with the 2.2 Did you "wipe" before flashing?
Guest mastersmithson Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 No? is that with the clockwork?
Guest mastersmithson Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 wipe cache or wipe data/factory
Guest Azurren Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) wipe cache or wipe data/factory Both :D (Note that it will "factory reset" your phone, removing all apps, texts etc.) But it will solve your problem, no doubt about that :D Edited March 24, 2011 by Azurren

Guest Azurren Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 (edited) eepp! Just did the 2.2 thing, restart it and the green android comes up, followed by android letters... nothing else!!!! Give it some time (About 5mins) If not go back into clockwork, wipe cache and data, then flash the rom again he wait 5mins+ for the first boot :D It is completely normal for it to take ages to boot after flashing a new rom Edited March 24, 2011 by Azurren
Guest mastersmithson Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 I re-did it and it works. I love you all!!!!
