Hi,

I have a strange wifi issue on my OSF sometimes when using wifi it says connected with the wifi symbol in the notification bar but won’t load web pages or facebook updates etc.

This only happens sometimes either after using the phone for 2mins and others after 2 hours. Have tried turning wifi off then on, rebooting the phone and rebooting the router with no results. Don’t know if it has something to do with the sleep issue but wifi always seems to come after a sleep within 5 seconds.

This happens at least once an evening at which at end up switching to 3G which works fine.

Cheers for the help.

It is possible that the broadband is at fault.

Go to PC and check when that happens.

If you stand directly infront of the router, do you still experience the same problems?

Hi Wally,

Thanks for the reply

Yes, but have full signal.

Think it maybe the wifi channels setting as router finds the best channel to use which runs on 14 channels and i think the OSF only runs on 11.

Will try setting to a constant channel and say if that makes any difference
