Blade continues to show 'Charging' after disconnect from USB cable

My blade continues to show 'Charging' even after I have disconnected it from the usb cable, as shown in the picture.

The battery level keeps showing at the same level but actually it drops quickly, about 10% drop in 1 hour. The phone can show the actual battery level after reboot, but still keeps showing 'charging' without plugging in the usb cable. I think this may be related to the micro-usb socket or other hardware problem of the phone. Any ideas on how to fix it? thanks!

Which ROM are you running? If you haven't flashed anthing new try getting a replacement. If you Arron a custom ROM, try a later release, or flb 11

what he means is, reflash. then you will know if its hardware or if the rom is to blame

if it is hardware. flash the orange rom (or your orange rom nandroid) and take it back to the shop. they will replace it
