Higher end Headphones - High pitched Noise?

Hello all,

I am using my Sennheiser Cx-200 headphones with my blade. (not the most high end headset, I know)

The sound quality is amazing.

However, when I play music through my phone I get 2 issues:

1) A fair bit of static. Like when you plug in an amp, the slight hiss, its quite a bit, and I can hear it during playback. However, when you stop playing music, the static cuts out shortly after.

2) Strange high pitched squeaks. These are mainly noticeable at the starts and ends of songs, when there is little texture (like only one instrument playing a basic melody) I Can hear these strange high pitched squeaks, like the noise a computer or a wii makes when its processing lots of data, but higher pitched.

Ive tried playing the same files on my pc, and I don't get either issue.

Im running CM7 N28, and using the stock music app.

Does anyone else experience these problems, with any ROM? (provided your headset is good enough)

I may try with other music player apps shortly, I just like using stock things :D

its normal, its probably bad design and the socket is too near *something* the only reason everyone doesn't hear it is cos people have different headphones, I dont hear it with my HD201's but music is really quite on that, with my mx550s its clearly there. - its probably more to do with the ohm rating and possibly the upper frequency limit of the headphones than the actual quality/price of them.

I do not think there is something wrong with the headphone, or phone, or any rom.

This can be a problem using a stereo headphone on a device which has mic input in the jack.
