Issues receiving calls on O2

The GF says that sometime i just cant be reached even though i have a signal, when she tries to ring me she cant get through even when i have several bars.

Now i tried from the landline to my phone and it recieved a phone no bother, whilst asleep and the screen on.

Any ideas?

We are both with O2 (obviously my SF is unlocked) , and this has happened on bother CM7 ROM and Modaco ROM.

Mine plays up when on 3G, sometimes can't make or receive calls. I switched to 2G and no probs??? I now only use 3G when I need a faster connection to the web.

When using 2g internet calls can't be received.

Most apps (Google apps) periodically check for calls when using data (That's why its slow and the little g icons arrows turn off and on)

But some 3rd party apps just use it constantly, in which case calls can't be received

3g is unaffected by the above :D

That could be your issue

TBH i never have 3G turned on, i dont get it in my area so i only have use 2g ticked.
