Guest peterpaulandmary Posted March 24, 2011 Report Posted March 24, 2011 hi *, i've got a t-mobile pulse on which i tried to flash 1.5 at first, this sometimes stops nearly at the middle of the whole process, sometimes comes to a successfully end. if it comes to an end, the next reboot simply gets stuck at the first displaying of the t-mobile logo. so even if i flash a recovery (Amon-RA 1.2.3 or 1.5.2 / clockwork 2.5.0.4) there's is no chance to get into recovery mode at all... ...ok, next attempt... booted into fastboot mode, erasing boot / recovery / system works fine, no errors at all. flashed pulse.superboot and Aon-RA 1.5.2 -> gets stucked as above already mentioned erased everything again, flashed boot / system of pulse-gingerbread-aosp-0.2 w/o Amon-RA 1.5.2 -> gets stucked as above already mentioned erased everything again, flashed boot / system / userdata of Froyo-Pulse-0.60 w/o Amon-RA 1.5.2 -> gets stucked as above already mentioned during all the flashing procedures fastboot mode didn't show up any errors... ...thx for any suggestions...
Guest solar-mk Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 Did you tried to update it with official December Update first ? The december update is the one after the official 1.5 firmware update. In order to update Custom ROM 2+ you should have official 2.1 installed. Don't forget to make backup image of the official Android Rom you have now.
Guest peterpaulandmary Posted March 25, 2011 Report Posted March 25, 2011 hi, tried the december update, instaling was successful, but after the reboot the phone remaines at the very first t-mobile splash screen... and it automatically reboots and remains at the splash screen, reboots, splash screen, reboots, splash screen, ...

Can you get it back to android firmware 1.5 ? Do you have a backup ? If not try with this method described and instal original 1.5 ROM again. Then you can try to update it again with the december update and 2.1 eventualy.

Guest peterpaulandmary Posted March 27, 2011 Report Posted March 27, 2011 (edited) sorry, was confused by the answer above... thx, but this won't work either at my pulse... - unpacking 1.5 with the perl script worked well - erasing with fastboot worked well - flashing with fastboot worked well - after restart... stuck at t-mobile splash damn... any way to debug the 'start' or check the phone?
