I would like to use either TransProxy or ASProxy so I can access my workplace internet connection. Both of these require iptables to be supported to work.

I've tried to check by using the command 'iptables -L -t nat' in a terminal emulator but the response is 'iptables permission denied' my phone is rooted and running FLB Froyo 10b.

Can anyone tell me if this rom supports iptables, or if not, which of the great custom roms available here does?

TIA

Casey

Actually the 2.6.32 kernel (what is used in all 2.2 versions and up) contains the IPTables and NAT modules needed for proxy!

I did see the topic you refer to but the 'iptables permission denied' made me think perhaps it wouldn't work.

I'm now wondering if I should run the command in the terminal as a superuser. This command line stuff is a bit out of my league. :D

Anyway thanks for the reply, I will give it a go at work on Monday.

Edit: Thanks for yor reply too fonix232, by the way I visited your blade website earlier this evening and it looks like it's been hacked, the front page is full of html code advertising pharmaceuticals (unless that's your day job!)
