i have been useing setcpu to overlcock my zte blade and it has worked very well in improving my speed. i am on theFLB r11b rom.

i have one problem, when my phone gos to sleep(when i hit the power button once) the temp start to climb above 50c, when i am using my phone the temp is arounf 25-35.

but its only when my phone goes to sleep. i have a sleep profile to set the cpu at 245/600 powersave. and one when temp goes above 50c 245/480 powersasve.

Any help?

Thank you

Does your phone actually feel hot? Sometimes I see temperatures of 50c+ when my phone doesnt even feel warm, its definitely wrong. Im using CM7s inbuilt cpu settings, 729 max 245 min

no the phone is not hot at all. the temp only goes up when the phone is on sleep when i unlock it the temp drops. this keeps triggering my temp profile.

does this mean that my cpu is running faster or that the cpu is not running at lower speeds. so is my battary getting draind?

Thank you

Im almost certain the Blade just gives false temperature readings sometimes. I would ignore it unless your phone actually feels hot, thats what Im doing anyway

i had the same problem with 1 or 2 roms

temperature grow in sleeping mode and come back correct after wake up

just ignore it

I have noted the same as well with setcpu and the temperature readings. On my wife's SF it would read around 50c at idle (no O/C and phone cool to touch). I would then reboot the phone and it would drop to around 27c.!

Similar hobnomolies like that have occurred on my phone.

I choose to ignore the temperature readings as I do not believe they can guarantee to be accurate.
