2002:12:08 Where is this date coming from?

Hello Folks,

I've noticed that all the pictures I take have the same EXIF date, i.e. 2002:12:08. I have set the phone date to automatic and that works on the files etc. I'm not the only one either, a quick google found a few other pictures with the same EXIF date.

Anyone know where this date is coming from?

Maybe its a "Feature" of the ROM your using : what ROM do you have on?

R12, but this has been happening since I got the phone. I guess the date setting isn't being updated by the os. Maybe it's a bug.

Lol, the phone date appears correctly and is correct in every circumstance except for the date and time of an image, even the file date is correct. Must be a bug.

hehe - my dates are correct too, but my location is alxa, inner mongolia :( (i'm in england :D )

there is an option in camera app

option save the position

I got the exact same place as you, I'm Also in England :(
