Phone always thinks headphones plugged in

I was attempting to connect up a headphone plug (in my Blade) up to my car speakers and connected the bare wire with a connection that sparked when they touched. There was a burning smell and now my Blade always thinks the headphones are plugged in.

Phone calls all have to be done through speakerphone, Navigation instructions don't come through, along with various other issues. Is there a software solution to this? If there's a hardware solution even better!

Something broke when it sparked I think.

The only solution I see is to install CM7 and route the sounds to the speakers.
