Guest SmileyMan73 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) Turned onto today after charging and everything stays in portrait mode. Quick test with gallery3D and it does not respond to any moment. Am I looking at returning this back to PC World? Thanks. P.s. running 1.08 + R8 Edited March 28, 2011 by SmileyMan73
Guest ViPaSoft Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 You haven't accidentally tuned on screen lock have you. (middle button on top of vega inbetween ON and BACK/MENU)

Guest crockwit Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Run the Vega until the battery is flat then leave for an hour or so. When you plug it in to recharge it should be working. This is a known issue on phones where the cure is to remove the battery for a while. It seems to trigger a physical reset of something that controls the accelerometer. This worked for me months ago and I've not had a repeat of the problem. Good luck.
Guest trevor432990 Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Probably won't work but worth a try ..... switch on the g-sensor "game mode" in settings see what happens? :D
Guest simonta Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Try backup and reflash. I've seen it work before.

(middle button on top of vega inbetween ON and BACK/MENU) I know this is a late reply but I had the same issue, yes it turned out that the screen lock was on. Simple problem but a pain if you can't find the cause. Thanks for posting this as it saved me from madness! :-) P
