Accelerator stopped working

Turned onto today after charging and everything stays in portrait mode.

Quick test with gallery3D and it does not respond to any moment.

Am I looking at returning this back to PC World?

You haven't accidentally tuned on screen lock have you. (middle button on top of vega inbetween ON and BACK/MENU)

Run the Vega until the battery is flat then leave for an hour or so. When you plug it in to recharge it should be working. This is a known issue on phones where the cure is to remove the battery for a while. It seems to trigger a physical reset of something that controls the accelerometer. This worked for me months ago and I've not had a repeat of the problem. Good luck.

Probably won't work but worth a try ..... switch on the g-sensor "game mode" in settings see what happens? :D

Try backup and reflash. I've seen it work before.

I know this is a late reply but I had the same issue, yes it turned out that the screen lock was on. Simple problem but a pain if you can't find the cause.
