Market opens then closes

I am running an early version of one of Pauls' ROMs from here. All was fine, the Vega was a joy to use.

Not used it in say a week or so - and now when I try to access the Market it opens up, pauses then closes...

What have I done?

Try the following

First try to sign into gtalk, once signed in, hit home then try to open the market

if this doesn't work then try this

menu > setting > applications > manage applications:

find market in the list, click it, then click clear cache

then try to open the market.

I strongly recommend you update the rom anyway its vastly improved since the early builds.

You are of course 100% right on the upgrading. I may do it this weekend. But cheers for the heads up :D
