weird I have never had that problem, and don't have it now either.

I'm using the prebaked version.

You should try that out first, before you put Paul to work :P

A bug in Fr17 RC3

Did anyone try the DIVX VOD registration ?

its in the Settings then About menu.

Each time I choose the option the phone freezes for a few seconds and then I get a Force close on it.

EDIT:

After a cache wipe and a restart it is working again.

Hell no, this is just a bug report

Phew, I was worried for a minute that someone actually use those services. :P

Back on topic:

Lowered the voltages of all frequiencies from 1 GHz and down and it seems to have really paid off. The battery percentage is much higher today after the same usage and charging pattern as usual.

If anyone's interested here's my PMC setup:

Max 1000, min 300,

1000 MHz: 900 mV

800 MHz: 800 mV

500 MHz: 700 mV

300 MHz: 670 mV

0.9V for 1GHz is too low for mine... it would hang up

you could theoretically encounter database corruption if you pull out the battery from your phone while it's running.

Like 99.9% of us never had these problems.

My useful data is always synced on my gmail so I'm not worried about any data loss.

Your choice :P

anyone has issues with the alarm on MCK (fr17, NO 64hack, NO OC/UV)?

I use AlarmDroid and I have to manually turn the screen on to have the alarm sound :\

was fine in Fr15

Just to make sure. I have FR12 installed, if I update to the current version, do I need to whipe? If not, will I loose anything? What about options that I have currently installed but would leave out in a new bake?

I must have a good chip then. It is perfectly stable since around 5 pm yesterday. I've now lowered all frequencies to -100 mV. Let's see how that goes. CPU test in PMC runs nicely.

Just a side note: as far as I know the voltage regulator (max8907), that is a chip external to the Tegra2 chip controlled through I2C, is UNABLE to generate any voltage lower than 770mV; so even if you configure pimp my cpu for lower voltages at the end the chip will be feed with a higher voltage (770mV).
