Hi!

So here is the problem: I used Clockwork to install different PowerWidget theme, which I now know was completly stupid.... -.-'

Since I already restored my phone once, I didn't know that I restored it back to when I had no backup.

And then I decided to install 2.2 Froyo on my phone, of couse a ZTE Blade, and the lock screen is like pushed up in the corner, and all the icons, the keyboard and well everything is smaller. And in addition to that, there is no Norwegian language.

So my question is: Is there ANY way to go back to 2.1 with Norwegian language, or any way to fix the Froyo screen resolution and language?

Thanks for any help!!

No idea what you are on about but 2.2 works fine on the Blade.. just flash any of the 2.2 Roms from here?

Modaco r12 has Norsk Bokmal in the languages options.. I assume thats Norwegian?

Is there any way that the screen resolution will fix itself after a ROM install, like Modaco?

EDIT: And yeah, Norsk Bokmål is Norwegian. :D

It shouldnt need to fix itself.. if you install a new ROM it should just work..

Are you wiping before installing or just flashing over the top? That may be the problem.

I wiped my cache and system before the Froyo upgrade.

THANK YOU MAN!! The update to Modaco fixed the screen resolution and language! :D

I will be very careful from now on!

oops too slow.. you already fixed it.

I#m sure if you flash to another ROM now you will still be ok.. maybe it just went a bit screwy. (Having said that Im using Modaco r12 and its perfect as far as I can see so may not be worth switching again)

Maybe make a backup and copy it to your computer :D

I will, but the Market is not working now. Any idea why?

At a guess maybe because of your locale or a mix of the locale and ROM version maybe.. MarketEnabler (http://code.google.com/p/market-enabler/) might be able to help there.. (although I guess its officially available in Norway, and was working before - so this should not be the problem... but it may be worth a try)

Ive not tried it on 2.2 mind.. only on my old phone so no idea if itll do anything crazy.

Or do you mean the app just doesn't start?

I've not found any problems with it on my phone and its been on there a few months.

(http://amip.tools-for.net/wiki/android/marketaccess is a newer version I think, although ive not used this one)

OMG, sorry for wasting your time! Just cleared all the data from the market (in applications settings) and it started normally... -.-'

Thanks for all help, and if I have more problems, I will Google and try my best to find a solution before posting. :D
