Guest zennit Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Just setting up my new advent vega and i've got a problem with the android market. I already had a htc wildfire registered as a device with my google account so when I log into my google account with the vega and use the market place it thinks it's the wildfire, so I can't get access to flash and other apps :D Any ideas?
Guest zennit Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 Would I be right in thinking most people use appbrain as the marketplace?

Guest cobra111 Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 I've got no problem either, I've got the Vega, and the moto defy, and my wife's old G1 is on there using the same log in details.
Guest shadow wave Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Would I be right in thinking most people use appbrain as the marketplace? Is this the market you have the problem with as I use the Google market and it works fine with multiple devices. Appbrain may not be designed for this.
Guest CrArC Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Would I be right in thinking most people use appbrain as the marketplace? Nope. Appbrain fairly quickly got overwhelming for me, and their remote install stuff never worked. Google Market's did, so...

My Orange San Francisco does the same, I cannot add another device, I have looked at all the options in my google profile but adding another device is not an option, any advice would be appreciated :-)
Guest beegee1962 Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 Multiple devices never worked for me on my WiFi only tablet (WSL XVision, the Japanese version of the Advent Vega). But when I changed to my 3G tablet (Viewsonic Viewpad 10s, another version of the Advent Vega) it registered immediately on the market as my second device. I think it has to do with the fact that my old tablet was not assigned to a telephone provider. But seems for Peter a it worked.
Guest zennit Posted May 12, 2011 Report Posted May 12, 2011 I cleared the data in the appstore app and it worked
