Guest arpitkens Posted March 30, 2011 Report Posted March 30, 2011 (edited) hello every one i have just managed SPB mobile shell 5.0 beta and Asphalt 6 working on dell streak with streakdroid 1.9. here is what to do:- grab a copy of SPB mobile shell, u have to install the .apk file manually through app manager or file explorer. after installation is finished . go to market and grab a free app called LCD density changer after installing it just change ur density to value 240 then apply changes it will reboot ur streak after reboot is done unlock the streak and select launcher -> SPB mobile shell then activate by clicking ok it will activate normally without error ,now u hav got a new launcher if, density 240 seems odd to u switch off ur streak pull battery and start after unlock screen when u select SPB mobile shell u hav to activate it again if gives compatibility error just click ok it should remain ur launcher if any ways streak reverts to ur earlier launcher (stage or gingerbread) u hav to repeat the process by changing LCD density however it should not happen . Asphalt 6 downloaded from gameloft is working ok with some graphical glitches. Update:- SPB shell 3D version1.0.1 is working great on streak ... :D grab now google it... Only problem I had with Asphalt 6 the accelerometer movements are way too smooth no matter what you select in the settings but works ok when using the onscreen buttons I'll try a bit later and test this version maybe it's fixed here...

What version did you get & where from? I wana check this works befor buying it after all the horror stories of people getting incompatible games & not being refunded!

Aww I got 3.1.6 & no luck :D it plays the gameloft intro vid & the asphalt intro vid & then a black screen followed by it returning to my desktop. I've never been able to get games like Nova & Dungeon Hunters working, am I doing something fundamentally wrong here?

Some don't start at all some get a license error after a while but when it does work it's great and way better then the previous 5.0 (beta build). After the license error the program removes itself from the launchers and it can't be run anymore until you reinstall it. Edited April 1, 2011 by jeffrey2000

I have 1.1 gb internal memory free and 9 gb free on SD card. I am able to install other apps without any issues. Any idea what could be the issue? Thank you!

Some of us also get pissed off when we buy a game, it doesn't work, & u get no refund because it's somehow ur fault! Anyway, Dungeon Hunters free on the market now! It runs, but only on the absolute minimum quality & even then the frame rate is less than you'd like B)

The only thing I do not like is lack of landscape mode. I use the phone in landscape mode 99% of the time. I have to turn the phone to use this app.
