WiFi - Permanent Fix ?

Hi Guys

I've tried quite a few ROMs at this point and the wifi disconnection/reconnection issue persists. I use Blade WiFi Fix to restore the connection but the wifi disabling itself when the phone sleeps is quite annoying for emails ect.

Is this a device problem that only ZTE can fix ? What do you use/do to solve it ?

There is not a clear answer.

You could try othe rroms and change your wifi settings (fix IP, different securyty protocol,etc..) but may never work 100%. You can use wifi lock: it keeps wifi alive all teh time..but your battery will run down quickly.

You can try also Cyanogenmode rom. At the momment (CM7 RC3) wifi stays always on...even when screen off..and even if you set up to turn it off when screen is off.
