AOSP 2.2 Contacts

Hi all,

I'm looking to set the AOSP Froyo contacts in place of the Acer one on the last VFIT rom , but when I try to change them after the reboot I got no contacts at all.. somebody could explain me where I wrong?

After losing my contacts once, I store them with my google account, no more losing anything anymore. As for AOSP, I dont have any idea....
