Guest dj9928 Posted March 31, 2011 Report Posted March 31, 2011 Its not a unique issue to the ZTE Blade, I've tried the Desire and Galaxy S and these also have low volume through the headphones although not as low as the blade, I've tried the Audioboost.zip etc but that made no difference at all, I've tried poweramp and playing with the EQ but all it does is distort, this is my second blade and now I'm starting to remember why I got rid in the first place, its a cracking phone in every other department but for someone who listens to the phone all day at work as an MP3 player this is a disaster, the volume is so low, I actually strain to hear it sometimes its ridiculous, volume isn't even half that of an iPhone or my old Nokia 5800
Guest Shrikey Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 I dont think there will be a fix for it. Youd have to get into the hardware digital amp control and even then theres no guarantee that it goes any higher anyway. The only real option is to use headphones with higher efficiency.
Guest jamidodger1 Posted April 1, 2011 Report Posted April 1, 2011 Or Use A Program Like MP3Gain And Change The Volume Of Your MP3'S

Guest dj9928 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) you could try audiohackv1.1apk it seemed to work for me Well I tried it, I'm not saying it doesn't work, it might but not that much that I notice EDIT:: It does work, however not for anything through headphones, through the speaker is very loud, but then it was always loud anyway. Guest Mogedwards Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 I have to say mine is a comfortable volume, however do you think the volume limit could be because of the EU legislation that came in recently.
Guest dj9928 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 I had a play just now with my Mrs Xperia X8, up full volume it can't be listened to, it deafening, so its down to the hardware I doubt, time to give up my search
