Are you sure you have the HDMI cable with it or did you mean the USB? Because as far as I know it's shipped worldwide without HDMI cable...

It doesn't look too thick - and i think it just covers the back - i just really liked the idea of the kickstand for when it's streaming media or just on the table - might help to reduce scratches
