Guest zen123 Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 I have a Nexus S which I'm happy with but thinking of getting the LG just for a change. I have a few questions 1/ How much storage available for apps? 2/ How loud is the external speaker, mainly for ringtones loudness 3/ What video codecs does it play out of the box? Thanks
Guest Le_PoUnT Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 1/ Almost 1,4GB 2/ Personally I find it weak, with 2 speakers I expected better, even if we don't know their power. 3/ *.mkv files aren't readable, but I haven't tested all the formats yet(I doubt that WMV works)
Guest aMpeX Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 2/ Personally I find it weak, with 2 speakers I expected better, even if we don't know their power. Only 1 speaker. The other cavity hosts the mic.
Guest sebsal Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) I actually think the speaker is really loud. Much louder than my old htc hero Edited April 2, 2011 by sebsal
Guest Le_PoUnT Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 @aMpeX After verification you're right, only the right grid has a speaker. @sebsal Compared to my old phone (Nokia 5800) ... It's inaudible! It was definitely the best phone for speakers

Guest Formel-LMS Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 The Nexus has better Sound quality. And: Midi Files as a ringtone are very awful. Need to convert my "Money Island Theme" now to mp3. How the hell can LG make such a bad quality? LG2x is an Eye-Catcher, but behind the wall are some serious weird things.
