Guest Amdathlonuk Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) Hi All, Well I've upgraded my Dell 16Gb Streak to a sparkly new 32Gb Streak. Anyway, I've not had to root or anything for a while as I had my device from when they first came out! However , I would like to root my device so I can use Superuser applications. I'm not fussed on flashing a ROM for now. However, everything has moved on with Basebands and kernels and stuff, I'm not sure which files I should use or which is the best way to root anymore?! My phone specs are: Android Version: 2.2 Baseband Version: GAUSB1A131921-EU Kernel Version: 2.6.32-9-perf Build Number: 12792 Looking at all the tutorials, they are quoting old or different build numbers, this is an O2 device. Can anyone help? Thanks. Edited April 2, 2011 by Amdathlonuk
