Guest ZEbbEDY Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 (edited) Hi :D got a new blade have done 2 before no bother but this one (my one funnily enough ffs) i cant boot into recovery mode with the volume up it just loads into orange have installed universal androot (1.6 and latest) and it said already rooted but did it anyway and then installed rom manager but says no permissions to install clockwork so im guessing it didnt root properly (doesnt ask for superuser permissions) have tried to install a couple of versions of recovery manager and it installs but then it crashes so unable to do anything halp! B) thanks in advance Edited April 2, 2011 by ZEbbEDY
Guest hecatae Posted April 2, 2011 Report Posted April 2, 2011 try z4root instead of androot, choose temporary root and then run recovery manager

B) thanks in advance yer sounds like you didn't root properly if recovery manager is force closing and you havn't been asked for superuser rights. also you say above: "cant boot into recovery mode with the volume up it just loads into orange" clockwork is reached by pressing power and volume down not volume up. this may be why you are not getting into clockwork? but saying that, volume up should boot into a different boot as well: the fastboot boot, so dunno what you've done.....
