Guest hudasp Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) GEN2 cannot install clockwork via fastboot from PC, and I don´t start phone (if I put on the phone, only backlight work and I have black screen). I´m trying downgrate to GEN1 via T-Mobile Hungarian firmware (with patched download), but I it don´t check IMEI. If I trying via original T-Mobile flasher (DL_Customer_P729TV1.00.00) If I trying flash clockwork (md5 checksum is correct) Edited April 3, 2011 by hudasp

Guest hudasp Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) If I understand well, Recovery and ROM manager is apk´s files for install in phone, but I don´t put on the phone:-/ If I start the phone, only backlight is on, nothing more. Edited April 3, 2011 by hudasp
Guest fonix232 Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 Probably you will need that exe what could edit the IMEI field... So you can write back your IMEI, save it, and use the Gen2 updater again to make it work.
Guest hudasp Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 (edited) Could you write step by step? I don´t understand you, what you mean. EDIT: Last screen if from GEN2 updater. Updater found the phone, but Start button is inactive. How I write back IMEI, what fonix232 says? :D Edited April 3, 2011 by hudasp
Guest hudasp Posted April 3, 2011 Report Posted April 3, 2011 No chance for my phone´s resurrection? :D
Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Hey man. Same thing here. First, my phone is a Gen 1 phone. I did the update Gen 1 to Gen 2 without any problem. So I try to do the other thing, downgrade from Gen 2 to Gen 1 and trying to flash my Gen 1 stock ROM... But now I can't read my SIM card, and I've the same error than you when I try to flash again with my PC... But I can access to my clockworkmod. So, we have dead phones ? Thanks. Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Where's this channel1.nvm please ? I use this guide Gen1 to Gen2 Then Gen2 to Gen1 Maybe this is another problem ? Thanks.
Guest hudasp Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) so your phone is fixed yes? Yes, my phone works well now and IMEI is back. Many thanks to mrradmir for help with my phone resurrection. Edited April 4, 2011 by hudasp
Guest hudasp Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 (edited) Where's this channel1.nvm please ? I use this guide Gen1 to Gen2 Then Gen2 to Gen1 Maybe this is another problem ? Thanks. Channel1.nvm is file with IMEI information, which is created via flash process (if I fully understand informations from mrradmir - please correct me, if I write mistates) in dir c:\windows\sysdy. Ever phone has unique Channel1.nvm (because ever phone has different IMEI). Answer me, if is your IMEI 0. Edited April 4, 2011 by hudasp
Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Yes my IMEI is 0. I've found my channel1.nvm. So now, What i'm suppose to do please ? Thanks.

Guest unrandomsam Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Now I´m writing how to quide. Please wait. Solution, which helped me, is here. Did you managed to get it partitioned in the end or was it all for nothing ?
Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Thanks for your help. I presume it's the same deal if i'm on Gen1 phone ? Thanks.
Guest hudasp Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Did you managed to get it partitioned in the end or was it all for nothing ? I don´t understand, what you mean.
Guest hudasp Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Thanks for your help. I presume it's the same deal if i'm on Gen1 phone ? Thanks. No it´s only for 2GEN firmwares. I check correct channel1.nvm in 1GEN flasher, but it did not work.
Guest CaptainSpectacular Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Ok, i'm done. Thanks for your help. But now, my phone is on Gen2 I don't have 3G anymore... Any ideas ? Thanks.
Guest hudasp Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 You have got TeriaSonera firmware. If it´s your IMEI OK, now flash RLS4 firmware via this topic.
Guest unrandomsam Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Did you managed to get it partitioned in the end or was it all for nothing ? OK, very bad situations. Guest hudasp Posted April 4, 2011 Report Posted April 4, 2011 Try this (if you have correct channel1.nvm file). It will be restore partitions too.
