/mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD is not external, but internal sd card

How do I access my external sd card? I thought it was mounted as /mnt/sdcard/_ExternalSD but that is actually still on the internal sd card.

UPDATE: I found out that when the phone is connected through usb to my pc, _ExternalSD folder is not mounted to my external sd card, but when I use filemanager in my phone it is. Uff. Something's wrong.

UPDATE#2: When I copy files from my pc to my phone, disconnect and then use ASTRO file manager to copy the files to the _ExternalSD folder, it works...
