telephone numbrr unknown - giffgaff

Hey,

I've asked the giffgaff members about thus but they don't think you can.

I remember seeing some where about doing this but can't find it.

I've got giffgaff apn and giffgaff tools and tools shows number as unknown, also in about phone in settings it also shows my phone number as unknown, any way to change it?

Look on the market for "My Phone Number", that'll do it.

Then from then on, it should be shown.

The latest SS4 shows the number as it should be, and having used that app previously, I think it's written it to the sim, or sorted it somehow, as I had the same issue with a previous FLB rom, and GiffGaff.

Giffgaff numbers are not stored on the sim when shipped that is all. So you need to manually set it with the mentioned app or a blackberry/iphone. Mine always shows now.

Should you set it with the +44 or as just a plain 07 number?

Dont really see the point, why do you need to see it unless it is brand new?
