ive had the same prob using orange network and giffgaff !!

you load facebook and then places it takes ages to search and then finds zip, gps is working fine with google nav etc, you then add then place takes ages and then reverts back to check in

is this just a facecrap glitch or zte blade / android app issue or is there a fix ?? Foursquare works really well (similar to places think they started it 1st)

help its annoying :D

I was never able to get it to work either, via wifi or over 3G...

Hi All,

Good, its not just me then... :D

Official FB App takes ages to find location/checkin... However I use Flow and that finds it almost instantly... and is a lot quicker with proper Push notifications too... far better than the official FB app...

glad its not just me as well then :D

foursquare works like a dream add's no issues, must just be the facebook app for android, ive stopped using it as of today just hassle

i'll have at look at flow see if its any better

places works fine for me at home, but unlike FS it doesn't let you add a place unless your in the area which is kinda crap

Ricey155,

No worries mate, ya welcome.... yeah, I find the official Android FB app really naff, and hope it gets updates with MUCH improvements soon. Flow works a lot better than the official, but doesnt feel native, if ya get what I mean. But certainly is a lot lot better... :D

Not seen or heard of this FS one, that you've mentioned, so gonna look into that one now too... thank you... B)

Cheers, Lister
